The walnut breaker (re-cracker) is a drum-type nutcracker that cracks walnuts that have not been cracked enough in the cracking machine. Positioned above the vibrating screen, it guarantees thorough processing of uncracked walnuts. The resulting mixture of walnut kernels, additional cracked walnuts, and shells is instantly directed to the vibrating sieve for further sorting.

The aspiration system efficiently separates the shell and partitions from the walnut kernels. The remaining walnuts are smoothly discharged into the receiving tray of the lifting conveyor, which seamlessly transports them to the sorting line without the need for manual intervention.

The vibrating sieve with aspiration categorizes the cracked walnuts into three distinct fractions – halves, quarters, and eighths. Each fraction undergoes a final separation of the kernel from the shell in the dedicated aspiration column.
